Introduction

When life feels stuck, and every door seems closed there is still one door that never shuts. This is the door
of Imam Hussain (A.S.), the door of Karbala, the door of Ziyarat Ashura.

✨ The Miracle

A very famous orator narrates:

> “A few years ago, one of my younger friends came to me. He was heartbroken, helpless, and deeply distressed over his marriage issue. With tears in his eyes, he said:

‘I have faced rejection again and again. It feels like marriage is impossible for me. Every time I send a proposal, it gets rejected. I am shattered.’

I said to him: “Perhaps you’re looking for matches in the wrong places, where you’re not valued.”

> He replied: “No, it’s not that. If you don’t believe me, you yourself take my proposal to a respectable family.”

I accepted his challenge. I approached a family I was very close to I was sure they wouldn’t refuse. But after making an Istikhara, the result came negative.

Disappointed, the boy said: “Didn’t I tell you? See, even here it didn’t work.”

I smiled and said:

> “There’s no problem. But listen to me carefully if I tell you a solution, will you do it?”

He said: “Yes!”

I told him:

> “Recite Ziyarat Ashura every morning after Fajr prayer for 40 days along with 100 curses (لعنت (and 100 salutations (سالم(, followed by Dua Alqamah. Stay consistent. Imam Hussain (A.S.) will open the way for you.”

The miracle happened even before completing the 40 days.

> ✅ On the 28th day, he came running to me with a bright smile and said:

“Alhamdulillah! My marriage proposal has been accepted by a very suitable family. In fact, the Nikah is happening this very afternoon after Asr prayers. Please come and attend!”

I attended his wedding with happiness. After the ceremony, I softly reminded him:

> “My dear, remember you still have 12 days left to complete Ziyarat Ashura. Never forget that it is only because of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the barakah of this Ziyarat that your prayer was answered. And whenever life tests you again, run towards this same door.”

Spiritual Reflection
