From Hopeless to Home: How Ziyarat e Ashura Changed His Destiny

Introduction

Sometimes, a sermon you hear becomes the turning point of your life.
This is the true story of a teacher in Iran whose long-standing desire to move to Mashhad remained unfulfilled until he turned to Ziyarat e Ashura.

✨The Miracle

It was the year 1380 AH, and Muharram majalis were being held in a mosque in Iran. One night, the scholar narrating the majlis said:

> “Whoever recites Ziyarat e Ashura for 40 days, with full respect and its complete method, Allah will remove all calamities and hardships from their life.”

Sometime later, while walking on a road in Mashhad, the same scholar met an old acquaintance: Muhammad Hussain Fedaai Baharjandi, a pious and sincere teacher, known for his love of Ahlul Bayt (A.S).

He said with joy:

> “Do you remember your majlis in which you spoke about the power of Ziyarat Ashura?
I acted upon it, and my long-standing desire to shift to Mashhad has finally come true!”

He continued:

> “During my holidays, I came to Mashhad for ziyarat. While there, I met a well-mannered, kind stranger. He asked me, ‘Do you have any special request?’ I politely declined, but he insisted.”

Eventually, he shared his wish to shift to Mashhad.

> “To my astonishment, the man immediately took me to Khurasan,
and arranged a direct meeting with the governor himself!
The process was so smooth and fast it felt like the man was sent specifically to fulfill my dua.”

By the end, all formalities were completed, and he was told:

> “You may now shift here with your wife and children.”

From a blocked path to a blessed outcome all by the barakah of Ziyarat e Ashura.
